Today is the day I have been planning for this last year. I am ready to go with my six suitcases and my oversized carry on bag. I am praying I won't have to pay too much for additional luggage.

also i followed my heart to italy (but not so far, im from berlin). now i live in genova for more than a year and i love the sun, the food, (my boyfriend) and enjoy cultural differences. i appreciate the impact the italian way of life has on me. im more relaxed and on the way to take things more easy ;-)
your step is a big one. im sure, you will love living here. and the feeling, that there is no good-bye to your boyfriend in a few days, in a few weeks.. this helped me settling in a lot.
